Full Potential Solutions donates, dances, and delights underprivileged kids
MANILA, Philippines (April 8, 2023) -- Full Potential Solutions’ (FPS) operations team, led by Senior Director for Operations Jeff Inandan, celebrated International Day for Street Children (IDSD) with kids at Virlanie Foundation through donations and dancing. The operations team, composed of 16 sales specialists, visited the Virlanie Foundation’s headquarters in Makati City. The foundation has helped over 22,000 children and served 200 families. The said headquarters currently houses 22 underprivileged children who have been nurtured and supported all throughout their transition from street to sheltered living.
The celebration started with a detailed awareness discussion and casual exchanges among attendees on the foundation’s backstory and the current plight of the city's underprivileged and abandoned children. Some have been living on the streets with disabilities for years with unmet needs. Virlanie Foundation is a privately funded, non-profit, and non-sectarian organization dedicated to improving the lives of street children. It aims to disrupt the generational cycle of poverty that affects families. For over 25 years, the foundation has been working towards empowering street children and facilitating their reintegration into society.
Full Potential’s operations team served packed lunches and food trays and shared a meal with the entire foundation’s crew. Both teamed up to carry out interactive activities and spent the afternoon playing games, coloring books, singing, and sharing stories together. The celebration culminated in a dance showdown with the kids where everyone joined in and reveled to the popular Filipino song Paro Paro G.
Full Potential recognizes the need to support local communities as it embodies its mission to “create an environment where everyone thrives.” This year, the team is strengthening its role and has taken action to provide much-needed resources to dire communities.
“We believe that every child has the potential to achieve great things. Every child should have access to basic necessities,” said Jeff Inandan, Senior Director of Full Potential. “Unfortunately, many families in our community are facing financial hardships and are unable to afford even the most basic items like food and medicines. We want to do our part to help alleviate this burden and ensure that kids have the resources they need to thrive.”
Full Potential’s commitment to supporting underserved communities is part of its broader goals to empower youth and create opportunities for growth and development for future leaders. The organization offers a range of mentorship and leadership development programs internally to help young people reach their full potential.
“Our goal is not just to provide immediate relief, but also to empower families with the resources and support they need to succeed in the long term,” said Amit Basak, Chairman, President, and Co-Founder of Full Potential. “We believe that by investing in our communities, we can create a brighter future for everyone.”
